A Shift in Perspective
On the 12th day, a pause -
There is a River of Grief that runs through all of us (Lidia Yuknavitch, The Chronology of Water) and yesterday, while trying to find my reflection in its coursing life force energy, I fell in.
Often I sit by the river and never am I afraid to dip my toes in or splash its water on my face, but I think it is time for me to emerge myself and float for a while.
I would like to see my life, my past and my future, from a new perspective and on the eve of Mercury retrograde, as the planet of communication stands still (from our perspective) and begins its journey backward in the sky, now is the perfect time to do so.
I would like to continue this journey of 1000 unedited words a day once Mercury goes direct towards the end of July, but it is possible (or even likely) that this timing of reflection (or rather, floating?) will show me that I need to continue to keep my thoughts private for longer. We shall see.
Thank you for your engagement and attention up until this point. I look forward to sharing further once it is aligned with my intention and integrity. For now, I will leave you with some words I find inspiring from the brilliant R. Buckminster Fuller.
Wishing you all the best,
Kelly
